Our first project was to conduct a case study analysis. Choosing from only PRSSA Silver Anvil award-winning case studies, I chose Thermos’ Overnight Coffee Challenge. My presentation reviewed and critiqued the case’s research, objectives, programming, and evaluation (R.O.P.E. method). Our final project was a group “pr agency” project. The assignment was to select an organization that could benefit from a strategic PR campaign and develop a strategic pr plan proposal. Our group chose Samsung and the launch of their upcoming Galaxy 8 smartphone. Our strategic plan included research; company strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (S.W.O.T. analysis); objectives; programming; and evaluation methods.
