PR Management


Throughout my public relations management course, my group worked on a client project for the Sony Pico mobile projector. We compiled a strategic PR plan based on our product and company research; goals; key publics; strategies and tactics; calendar and budget; evaluation; and appendix pieces. My role in the project included creating the “Educator” key public and how this product could benefit the educational market. I crafted objectives, primary and secondary messaging, and strategies and tactics for introducing the Sony Pico to this market – positioning the product as the portable projector for an interactive and versatile classroom for educators and students. I also compiled the pieces of the PR plan from our various group members and created a product brochure for the education market as an appendix piece to our plan.
